The Patriots
This is the other large sculpture at the front of the Capitol: "The Patriots". The man in the center with the helmet and sword is a soldier, and the figures at his sides are people mourning a soldier killed in battle.

I like your photograph. I think it is beautiful. I don't much care for the theme -- soldiers -- killing -- sons killed. It is a crazy world.
I have celebrated this day, Mother's Day in my country, with a magazine cover for my wife. I hope you can see it.
